Mr. Lacy

talked about residential water usage for different communities in the southwest. The lowest usage was reported in Santa Fe, NM which reported 102 gallons/day per capita in 2013. Prescott, AZ which has many similarities to Pahrump, reported 163 gallons/day per capita. The numbers for Prescott may be considered a realistic target for the Pahrump Valley. B. Oz Wichman None C. Mr. Kryder

gave a brief update on the Trout Canyon situation. Drilling wells and hooking up a couple of houses to each is now being considered as an option. Also the Land and Water Users Association met with USDA and they will be able to help with funding the PER. Though they no longer need a partner to help fund and environmental assessment, they are still looking toward the Water District to partner in building the pipeline and moving forward with hydroelectric generation. The software for running the Glorieta Geoscience administrative groundwater model for the Pahrump Valley has been purchased and installed and is running. There is now the capability to run water pumping scenarios if the Committee makes a request. .
