advised the Nye County Republican Central Committee meeting would be at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow at headquarters. December 20, 2019 SITTING AS THE NYE COUNTY LICENSING AND LIQUOR BOARD

assumed the Chair of the Licensing and Liquor Board.
5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation to consider approval of a

explained she did not do a recommendation because of some things going on within her division being rectified and some allegations that the applicant had made against her department. She would abstain from the vote as she did not feel it would be ethical for her at this present time to vote on this particular license.
Commissioner Koenig
made a motion to approve the retail liquor license for The Bearded Lady Saloon; seconded by Commissioner Blundo.
Commissioner Blundo
believed an event was proposed at this location and asked for the details. Kelli Slater, the applicant, said she was trying to do a fundraiser for Coats for Kids, but her event permit was denied .
Commissioner Blundo
asked if no liquor was served .
Ms. Slater
said she was going to do a private party for football and supply beer/alcohol and food, but she ended up canceling that as well.
Sheriff Wehrly
mentioned there was an event on November 22, 2019, that did take place posted on Facebook.
Ms. Slater
stated Coats for Kids was supposed to be that weekend and they ended up canceling it.
Commissioner Strickland
cautioned Ms. Slater about the use of social media .

6. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation to identify the terms of the

made a motion to identify the terms of the seven members appointed to the Central Nevada Museum Advisory Board from the December 3, 2019, Board meeting, Sam Alsup, Douglas Baker, Harris Brokke, Cindy Kaminski, Randy McLean, Allen Metscher and Phyllis Sorhouet for one year appointments set to expire January, 2021; seconded by Commissioner Strickland; 4 yeas.

explained she wanted to be sure nothing in the licensing process looked coerced which was why she stepped down on that item .
