, every naysayer of your character with whom I spoke and of whose comments I read on social media, agrees that this was flagrant, unacceptable behavior to have attacked you in this manner, and then having to make you argue for your right to comment. They basically shot themselves in the foot. Finally, to candidate snow, attacking you without your presence to rebut the accusations was simply cowardly. in this case, my East Coast ways don’t work here. Those are based on integrity, respect for the rules and the process in which this town should function. We are so far down in the cesspool of corruption that has been created here, and by the exposure of pay to play, that the beloved town of Pahrump can no longer exist as the true Pahrumpians want it, and what newcomers expected. You should have known better and should have done better. God help Pahrump. I’m proud to be 50002. Lorraine Gilbert I wanted to commend commissioner Jabbour and the young people that were there yesterday representing their program. I would encourage us to have a program like that here in our community. Those young people are a fine example of the next wave of leadership. Patricia Robb I’m still concerned about the zombie lots. I hope that you heard me say yesterday that if you’re needing more money for the county, then do something to at least test the system and make sure everything is going to work. Otherwise, being that it is a test obviously you can retract everything. We need to start with a pilot area. Once it’s proven that these alternative utilities do work so people can actually live on that land, now you’re going to get more money in taxes. It doesn’t benefit the town, it doesn’t benefit the people, and if the county continues to sell these small lots through tax deed auctions, knowing they lack infrastructure, then there needs to be a realistic lawful path for those laws to be used responsibly. It’s just unfair that just keeps going on, year after year. It’s got to stop, and I’m not going to stop until something is proven that you guys are actually trying to make a legal pathway for these people. I know you can’t buy the lots back; I know you don’t want to stop taxing them, so do something please. Show me what it is that you are doing to make these lots usable. Ifthe required utilities cannot realistically be installed, and what legal path does the county provide these owners with their land. How does the county ensure its regulations remain reasonable for these legally created parcels under NRS 278.020. It is the zoning that is actually tying up everything, because the zoning is king ofthe hill and everything under it and in it needs to be changed. Thank you. I’m not interested in winning any popularity contests. I work for the 57,000 people who are our bosses. That is the way that is. I sleep just fine at night, whether you all like me or whether you don’t, doesn’t make any difference to me. I’m going to give you a little history. Ian Bayne right here helped me and was instrumental in my campaign against my former predecessor Leo Blundo. He worked with me. He literally, probably, got that election handled for me. I have been his friends since then. We don’t have to agree on everything. I am the same as commissioner Jabbour. I had the privilege of meeting commissioner Jabbour way back in 201 8 through Michael Lach and have been friends ever since. Commissioner Strickland, same way. I am a home builder; that is what I’ve done here. I don’t do it while I do this job for obvious reasons, but commissioner Strickland and her companies would do our wells and septic’s; and we’ve always been friendly. doesn’t mean we go to dinners, doesn’t mean we do any of that, but we are a working group. commissioner Koenig right here, he is like a grandfather to my daughter. He and former commissioner Schinhofen were my mentors and convinced me to do this in the very first place. I think at the end of the day it was great. So, I just want to let you all know that you don’t always have to agree on everything and healthy disagreements and discussions are vital to any progress made anywhere. So, I thank you I don’t mean to be disrespectful to anyone, but honestly, it’s just not in the shit business, the comments do get wearing. I don’t treat people that way, I don’t expect to be treated that way.

on the Animal Services, the total outlay, the total increase is 14,000? Manager Fanning the total increase for servicing supplies is $14,456, and then the increase for the additions of the new positions is $206,238. and those all three of those total with their salaries and benefits 206,238, and that’s within the town funding at 100%. And then lastly on the general fund side, we have the arena and that’s just an increase to utilities and operating expense, and that’s $1497. in summary, for the total for the general fund service and supply increase is 262,696, and the total increase for the new positions is 440,701 so the total increase to the town general fund is $703,397. there’re a few other , requests and they’re not big ones. The fall festival account is going to have one adjustment for dues and subscriptions of $1200, the business license fund is going to have increases in postage and their dues and subscriptions totaling $7100. The fairgrounds room tax is requesting $500 to increase the utility usage out there.

you said you had a beginning fund/ending fund balance of 4.5 million, and you’re projecting an ending fund balance of 1.6 and I think you said you’d have a negative balance. We all are concerned about our budgets on personal levels too right. You pointed out that you’ve got your managerial contracts for unions going up 7%, you’ve pointed out that your portion of fire is going up 1 5%, colas at 2.8. It’s a lot and we realized that, but we also have a lot of needs that we set aside and said during our meeting yesterday that these were the most important needs we had at the time. So, I hope you can appreciate that. Let’s work closely on your budgets as we progress through the year and make sure, we’re keeping it a tight ship.

I understand what commissioner Strickland is saying, however, when you express a concern for the following year, we’re trying to set things up: what you’re trying to accomplish is for the town of Pahrump to be successful. These are projections, a case report as we say, to see if we do this now, how we are going to look next year. And yes, absolutely, we’re concentrating right now, but you are expressing your concern, and I think we all had the same concern in reviewing the agenda. My question is, what is your answer, besides sharpening our pencils, for the rest of this fiscal year? Manager Fanning- we need to get the revenue up, that would help out a lot. get some people here, get some builders, and get everything going. I really don’t know without us changing things dramatically, I don’t really know how to change things, so we keep it pretty tight.

With what the town finance director is saying, is this something that’s atypical as far as funding? Are you saying that this is something, having a network engineer coming out partially from the town budget. is that’s something that you have seen before or is this a new thing. Manager Fanning we do pay for the IT department, the town of Pahrump, but it’s typically 14%.

that’s what it says here it says 14%. 86% from the county and 14% from the town fund. Correct? Manager Fanning yes but it’s normally flip-flopped. So normally the town pays 14 county pays 86%. That is different because that’s not the way it’s normally done, and same thing with Animal Services we usually 60/40 Animal Services and then it was voted to I 00%.

it looks like it says 86% from county and 14% from town. So, you’re saying it’s the opposite now. Would you, as far as your comfortability, is that something you would want is the other way around? the 14% from the town and the 86% from the county? I don’tthink I can support this because ofthe funding. I would want itto go back, and I’m not trying to be a problem for anyone, I just don’t want to put that burden on the town fund. I’d be a no on this because I think it puts unnecessary pressure on town, and I know that it’s easy for me to sit there and say that and participate in solution, but I just can’t vote for it. I would vote for it if we went back to 86% from the county and the 14% from the town as originally proposed.

If you look at where we have been told we’re at, our ending fund balance, until we make adjustments. Nye county portion would be down 2.5 million and we just got reported from the town of Pahrump that they would still be positive of I .6 million with these expenditures, so they can afford it. If you move it back to the county, we just need to reject it entirely because we can’t afford it.

these two positions are just going to be temporarily to replace people that are retiring. This would be an additional spend for a short time period. Director Brad Adams These are temporary positions. We can hire and cross train and get them in and up to speed before they actually put boots on the ground for the primary global operations. I want to make a couple of adjustments to this. number one, I absolutely agree, I don’t think that they are appropriate to be fully born or majority born by the town of Pahrump, with one caveat. #1 is on the network engineer I’ve had some internal discussions that are likely going to be an internal hire with the highly qualified individual in my department. that position on the network engineer, I’m going to pull that from even being a pre hire, off the table. It will be a fill: fill a retirement and fill of the position. #2; communication system supervisor, is a highly specialized, very narrow field position. that position, this is temporary, this is only until the position is vacated and it is fully filled with the new individual coming into that position. I do believe it is highly important that we prefill it because it is so specialized that filling the position could take six months in itself let alone the cross-training requirement. so, one thought on that is, although it’s not necessarily appropriate for that full time position to be borne by the town of Pahrump, I will say that that position is probably a little light at the 14%, because of what it does. a part time fill until the position is a full-time position, replacing the original position being born in large part of the town Pahrump would probably not be inappropriate.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say if you were sitting here and you had to make a motion, Mr. Adams, there’s an 86% coming out ofthe town general fund that’s what we got in front of us. Director Adams that’s what I’m recommending. The reason I’m recommending is because it is a temporary assignment for that position, in addition to the full-time position that is already borne by Nye County. the reason I’m recommending that is because that position and the systems that it supports for the town of Pahrump and Pahrump valley fire are in excess of 14%. If you were to look at the last I 0-1 5 years that have been borne for the communication system side, this would be justifiable on that one not on the network engineer but on the communication side. So, what I’m saying is we have a temporary position that’s going to be held over to make sure we have cross training.

The kennel position and the office assistant. I hope that you can appreciate, as we’re representing the town of Pahrump during this item, is that those positions are working here in Pahrump, and they’re doing the Pahrump business. those are Pahrump animals. They’re not coming from everywhere. percentage wise there’s a great deal of expense that the Nye County animal shelter incurs by paying for all the other employees, so having these two and one compared to the six. We really need to realize the cost that is incurred by Pahrump and it’s not a Nye County cost. Manager Waggoner On the kennel and office assistant, I remember Christy saying that if she had to make a concession, i thought it was the office assistant she said if she could at least have the kennel assistance. What would that do if we weren’t to fill the office assistant right now?

I thought I heard I kennel tech I office assistant? Manager Fanning if we were to hold off on filling the office assistant and just do the two kennel assistants, I don’t have an exact total, this salary would be approximately 33 and the benefits would be 36.

the only two things that come into my mind here is one of the things that I hear a lot from people is that they say there’s others, again first responders take cuts all the time, and would we rather have some of these positions or do we have another police officer on the street. I guess it depends on your position. I understand those are important functions. again, when I come before this board, I can hear my grandpa calling it hillbilly accounting. That’s sort of like accounting around here. I just don’t want to put a burden on the town. It’s not from this first responders because I don’t know where we’re at with that. I know that I don’t want to say no to these things. I would take it out of the LATCF fund, but I would just take it out of the LATCF fund. I got $1 .7 million available in the LATCF fund, that’s what I would do. That’s my solution that nobody likes. I can’t vote for this by putting that burden on the town, can’t do it, but I i want the positions.

I would like the motion to just include maybe a suspension of the previous direction in order to give this man his shop. I know it sounds minor, but I would like to do that if that’s acceptable. because the direction from yesterday says that everything’s going to fairgrounds, but I want to get that metal shop the other question is finance, is this something that’s typical of expectation? I just want to make sure not blowing a budget or something. or is this a thumbs up situation? yeah OK. and then the ambulance, chief is this just the chassis that I’ve talked to you about Chief Lewis Those are 2 new ambulances; they would be two years out before we would even begin to be in a position to receive those vehicles. The tenders are re-chassis so that will cut our expenses by about 60%. The 2 new ambulances are a 2007 and a 2008.

On the 160, I really like that. small things make a big difference. So, we’re taking money out of the travel and tourism budget, to go to travel and tourism to do this beautification. Is there a plan for people to see? Tourism Coordinator Jaynee Reeves The beautification of the easements on our main highway is something that I think will benefit. I have a lot of talking points here to address. This isn’t related to Main Street; this is building a capital improvement plan for an actually a Nye County easement that’s across from Walmart. There’s an easement right between the highway and Frontage Rd., there’s a lot of small businesses along that highway and so this has been a focus for tourism, and this will help with economic development and many other things for our community. This is just allocating that money so we can start working on the plan. and we will absolutely get some public feedback on that one. Basically, rocking the area, providing some additional parking there because right now all the businesses park on that gravel, so it will include parking. some beautification, some rocks, some boulders, keeping the same cohesive look that we have on the roundabouts as well as the other highways. We don’t want it to look hodge podge.

Clarification on the third page. On the third page of the report here, first column, on the very bottom under golf course property purchase, although it reads for the fiscal year 27/28 hundred thousand, could somebody clarify for me please is this The Walking golf course off of Calvada or is this the operating golf course. Manager Fanning to clarify on this, buildings and grounds had a piece of property that they were utilizing to have access to the lake view golf course, to get to a side of it that we weren’t able to get to because of the weight of the vehicles when we needed to work on things out there. That property has since sold and been developed, and so we no longer have access to that side of the golf course. We were going to be allocating money just to purchase a piece of property, that way we had somewhere to house equipment at and keep town owned things on. But there are no lots for sale right now, and so we have moved that capital improvement out to next year to see if there’s going to be anything available. We’re not even sure if that’s enough money to even purchase a piece of property there. But as of right now, we’ve just kind of tabled it and moved the expenditure to possibly next year and it could possibly get moved further from there.

I have an additional question for you then. If the property that you’re eyeing, and you’ve pushed it out to 27/28, is still available but the decision for the golf course, because they’ve been in the red and it’s been as long as I’ve been seated as a commissioner, and I’ve been vocal about that golf course. So, what happens if that golf course sells? Are we still going to be interested in that said piece of property? I would assume now that we would not be purchasing it at this time. Manager Fanning as I said, there is no lots for sale, so they don’t have their eye on an actual particular piece of property. There is nothing that would suit our needs for what Jimmy needs to have the access to get to that other side of the golf course.

By the way, the DA was in surgery yesterday and I was in heavy litigation prep, so I couldn’t be here. I think most of us are familiar with QuickBooks and the support. when we up the annual licensing, the support that they provide to you. It would be great if you know this number, because you did mention that it went up last year, just so everybody’s clear and that we’re transparent. The licensing is for 4 users. do you use this QuickBooks, this this product, anywhere else other than the pool? Manager Fanning yes some of the other additions to the other service and supplies also were for this. We use it for business licensing, for the fire department, for the swimming pool, and we use it for the fall festival account. This $1200 is split between the four accounts.

It may seem tedious, but we’re asking for clarity. say this is a split, this is what the QuickBooks system uses, and where it’s utilized for the different areas. We don’t know that we as in the public, we don’t know that. And all we’re asking is for a breakdown, not just you for everybody, so it’s clear as to where the money’s coming from, where we’re putting it, how we’re utilizing the system. The total amount thatthey are requesting is $938,000. The court is requesting $1 50,000, juvenile probation is requesting $60,000, department of Emergency Management is requesting $112,000, buildings and grounds is asking for $1,283,030, HHS is asking for a range of 55 to $65,000, planning is asking for $46,000. and that’s all that’s being asked for from fund 10401 which is capital. from fund 10402, which is special capital, we have IT requesting from existing projects $1,087,778. from fund 10213, IT is requesting $1,260,000. public works is requesting from fund 10205 $117,016.00. From 10209, public works is requesting $22,000 and from fund 10253 public works is requesting $5,951,108 dollars. from the Pahrump justice court, they’re requesting from fund 10244 $200,000 and $150,000. The first item, this is coming out of the capital fund 10401, and the items that are being rolled: BNG furniture remodeling for $43,500, deferred maintenance for 115,598, the new ERP system for $966,035, shooting range for $535,407, admin office/remodel expansion $28,530, and enterprise fleet buy out for $60,000.

I heard someone in the audience go what shooting range. The board is aware that we’ve been working on the gravel pit that is a BLM pit that we have a lease on. It’s on basin at Higley. the that shooting range has lead abatement that needs to be done, and we actually with help from Megan, set up a meeting with BLM to go over that, have a site meet with their hazmat personnel. that lead abatement, we got a price for. It was $150,000 out of our 528, and we’re trying to ask BLM ifthey’ll allow us to abate the lead the same way they do. so, the reason there’s lead contamination there is because this has been a shooting site, before my time when I came here. the public works will keep half of the property. It’s 40 acres and continues to mine as in dig the gravel out. the other half has already been mined.

some areas that we used to shoot in, because they infringe on people’s rights to do other things. That’s the why, so I’d like to make a motion if I could.

the shooting range and public works working hand in hand with the recreational aspect. I believe 20 years was the life expectancy for the shooting range. and then public works would take over of the shooting range. My concern is knowing the position that we’re in financially, for recreational purposes, for the outdoor activities, so we’re not prisoners in our own homes for other reasons. This is a necessary facility but is it vital that we do it right now and allocate the monies for this right now? My answer is no. the gravel pit, to utilize this as an additional landfill area for our residents’ taxpayers. Again, my concern is how is that going to work? because I’m not, I’m not confident that that on the recreational side, after putting monies into the shooting range, is to just freely turn it over to public works to say here you go. We’ve utilized it for the last 20 years and now as promised we’re going to turn it over for landfill use in its entirety. the $500,000, I think that this this monies could be set aside and not utilized at this time because it’s not absolutely necessary. It’s not vital that we move forward with this. but this is my opinion. I wanted to be audible and let you know how I feel. I think we need to start looking at these numbers to saying what is an emergency, what’s vital, and what can we hold off on, because of the position that we’re in financially.

This money was set aside. It’s not like we’re asking for new allocations. It’s at least been 4 maybe five years. and what we had done is we at one time we’re talking about getting our hands on the Murphy pit, and they were negotiating with us and then we were going to use it for a shooting range. Then when we’re done, we’re hoping to use it for landfill. That’s not the case with this property on basin and Higley. Basin and Higley has an existing gravel pitthat we have a lease with. It’s a free lease with the Bureau of Land Management and the BLM has agreed to section apart a portion of that out, which is the part that’s already dug out, and give that to us. and Beck engineering is working on the lead abatement portion of that, and the recreation and public purposes lease is already in the works. so that once that’s done, the shooting range remains in the portion that is dug out as a gravel pit, the gravel pit will be shut down as a gravel pit, and public works movements next door to the area that hasn’t been dug out and starts again. What’s really nice is it’s a dual use and from what I understand from public works, this is the best gravel we have in town. They have dug to the point where they’re not into the into the good stuff no more, so they get to start again on the top side of the good stuff, and we acquire the entire 40 acres. I’m hoping that you can support it, because like I say, this has been monies that have been earmarked and gone on for years so that we could get to this point where BLM is meeting with us next week and hazmat from that team to see if they will let us abate that way. Should they not let us abate that way we’ll simply spend the $150,000 unfortunately and abate the way that we got the bid for. and here again, we have no shooting range. you’re fortunate, Commissioner Jabbour, you have a shooting range in Tonopah and there’s one in Beatty; and both those sites are on our land’s bill because we don’t own those either. We’re taking one on and at time and this is the first one with Beck engineering getting us the RMP leases.

thank you commissioner for clarifying because you’re absolutely right, the information that I was referring to was on another property. However, with the clarification, do we have a number? Because now I’d like to come in with it from a different angle in order to support this. do we have a number of public works that the gravel that they’re going to extract to utilize on our roads. Because it’s good stuff as you say. gravel is not cheap and to have it trucked in from a different area but this being indigenous of Pahrump and Nye County is really a benefit to us. and so do we have a number. but what would the cost be for the tonnage that that we’re anticipating that’s going to be extracted from this 40 acres, working in conjunction with the landfill.

It’s going to cost us $1 000,000, for example to remove that tonnage of good stuff and truck it to and from. so, Tom what we’re on here is $500,000 dollar budget item for the shooting range, 40 acres gravel pit that public works will be extracting. How much of the good stuff, the tonnage, will be extracted from this area, versus having to go and pay for it and trucking it from A to B. Director Boiling my current price when we buy material is anywhere from 8 to $12.00 a ton. 800,000 to 1.2 million for 100,000 tons.

William doesn’t ask for much, neither does Tina, because I’m really well versed on what they do. William is there anything on this list that that we can move to the next fiscal year 28. DirectorAllen these items that are left have been moved from yearto year, some of them more than once. Two of these systems are currently inoperative, they’re down already. The jail soft water system could actually run it manually, which causes all kinds of issues within the jail. the Pahrump justice facility soft water system also in the same situation. It’s just end of life. The only thing that we could remove from here is a new work truck, and buildings and grounds are running some pretty old equipment. Our new fleet truck is over 400,000 miles now, our old one, still in service, has over 600,000 miles on it. we’re still running some Fords since the early 2OWes. We have a 96X fire truck. I’m only telling you this, because that would be the one item I’d give up

the reason why your current vehicles are running so well with such high mileages because of the fantastic mechanics we have through public works. The vehicles don’t last forever, and I would hate for you to give this up. I appreciate that. I was looking more towards that big number at the animal shelter. Now I know with water where they clean, water is not a friend at times. With it being a new building, is it time to re-epoxy? Or was it just never done initially. Director Allen initially we tried a different floor covering; it only lasted less than a year. was not suitable for the circumstances that we’ve put it in. There is an option that I’ve spoken with the county manager on, one of the things where we could potentially save some money is doing the walls in the house. I think the important thing here is patience. because we are a 5-man crew and it takes us a little longer to accomplish things. but we could. I think we have 6 quotes total for this, and the cost was not substantially different for each vendor. We’ve been trying to find a cheaper way to do this for some time. If we do epoxy, the cost per square foot is pretty much industry wide, that’s what it cost. Manager Waggoner we’re to a point where I would call it critical. We’ve got to get this done. Those walls are CMU block walls, and they’re not sealed at all. There are bugs that are growing in the holes. There are all kinds of issues that the animal shelters having to constantly work on trying to keep up with it, and it would be much easier if we could get those walls sealed and at least eliminate that problem. and of course, the odors are getting really bad in there as well because you lift your leg on the brick, it’s going to soak it in.

10402, IT, existing and ongoing critical general improvement for $1,000,000 DirectorAdams ofthat 1.198 million was originally requested. After a discussion with Zena and her team this morning, and a concern on the shortfall in the budget, made some radical reductions on it and reduced what we anticipated was going to be a disaster recovery zone, which was another data center and infrastructure to support that, in a secure location. We’re going to push that off until fiscal 28, along with a couple of other items which will reduce that 1.198 million down to a number that is attainable by finance. what this will do on the backup, the total reduction will be $450,000 and that will place the total on 10402 at 48,143. ****Center Rd. and addition of a truck that we’re going to postpone into fiscal 28. a data center including Sam storage, redundant host, VMware licensing, for secure network, dr zone. Then that would be the inclusion of both backup servers and primary sand storage along with the hosts, virtual hosts, and also I’ve removed the password management software that’ll be a county wide deployment and we’re going to push that back until fiscal 28

out of 10213, emergency system IT, critical general improvements expansion/construction for $1 .26 million. DirectorAdams that is not one and the same. It is not a 101 fund; it is not a general fund capital line item. that 10213 is special revenue. It is coming offthe 911 surcharge and it’s coming off of a special property tax. In light of this morning’s discussion on the 911 communication system supervisor, which is going to be coming back to the table a very intelligent person had reached out to me and suggested that we potentially move that expense, instead of applying itto the latch when it comes back to the board, that expense may very well be applicable to the 911 on the carryover on that position. So, this expense on the CIP for fiscal 27 is for 911 related items that are related to the 911 Advisory Board will not hit in general fund or general fund CIP. ComptrollerTeich — 10205, publicworks capital, for road fund $1,017,016. Elizabeth Jordan we’re asking actually for all three of our funds, 10205, 10209 and 10253. Public works items are quite expensive, and our capital items are well in excess of $3,000,000. We currently only have I 000,000 available to spend based on our budget. We are going to have to bring these items as they are needed, to be approved by the board. We’re asking just for the funding so that we can move forward with the budget itself. for the airport fund, most of our capital items are funded through FAA. We are keeping only 22,000 because that is the amount available for our capital needs. That doesn’t get us very much, so we’re going to have to be very frugal with what is needed and that we can support with this fund. most of our expenditures are covered through FAA, flood, critical failures, will need to be paid as needed throughoutthe year. the 10253 fund, those are for impact fee projects. We are currently waiting on a couple of grants, actually we just got approved of them yesterday, that will cover the design portion of the projects. Once the design portion of the projects, we can move forward by going out to bid on certain projects, and those projects will be brought to the board to be approved.

10244, Pahrump Justice Court. The two items combined are $350,000 and then out of fund 10246, court funds, is the jury accommodations, completion of the jury box and the jury room for $230,500. Alisa Goodman we have one exit to the parking lot. we have no way out the back. It’s just fence. The funds are court funds; they’re not coming out of the general fund. We just need approval for it. The escape route would be something out the back, so if something does happen inside the courthouse or out in the parking lot, we have a way out the back for our staff. The bulletproof window is for the staff at the window that deals with the public. then the jury box. When we originally had it done with buildings and grounds, we were only required to have a petite jury, which is 6 pIus alternate. then it changed to have a jury of 12. We’ve been dealing with it, we have not ever been able to get it finished, so it’s kind of rolled over. It was on our CIP five-year plan and so the escape route and the jury box have been rolled over for the last few years.

To help with the jury accommodations, this is a mandate. and if I’m not mistaken, within the jury room I believe it’s also mandated that they’re to have their own restroom, so the potential jurors are not with the general public during jury deliberations.

10244, Tonopah Justice court, a kiosk for $50,000; and out of fund 10246, court funds Tonopah, we have a courtroom recording system for 150,000 and an E filing system and training for $30,000 for a total $180,000. Judge Klapper the capital improvements we’re asking for does not come out of county coffers. It’s all court funds. the money that we have is managed by the court. the upgrade to the sound recording system, we don’t really have a choice if we’re to keep up with the state mandates. The filing system is something that’s coming down, the AOC, Supreme Court, has not yet announced if there will be a cost to the courts or what that cost will be. and the kiosk for access to justice is also something similar to Pahrump justice court, that has been in the works.

Mr. Lilly made a comment in regard to the jury box, jury room, and now I realize he didn’t have the printout, or he wasn’t able to see what Zena was reading from as we were, but thatjury room jury box is specifically for Pahrump for the Pahrump justice court. Manager Tackett- Nye County does have a county carpool. We have about I 3 vehicles, and everything from a Chevy Malibu to Durango or Tahoe. various departments check them out on a regular basis. They have high mileage, high use, they are on the road for everything from mail, deposits, sheriffs office academy use in in reno. They’re all over the place.
