noted we do have a quorum with four members present. Continued from the March 9, 2022 Meeting: For Possible Action — WV-22-1:_ Public Hearing, discussion, and deliberation on an application for a Waiver from NCC 15.28.100 Unpaved Parking and Storage Areas and 17.04.730 — Parking, Section D — Construction and Design Requirements, Subsection.4 — Surface, in conjunction with the development of a driveway and an approximate 5.88-acre construction storage yard on a portion of the property located at 4801 S Homestead Road, Assessor Parcel Number 045-041-04. Patrick & Karen Rily — Property Owners, Civilwise Services - Applicant/Agent. (This item is Final Action by the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission unless appealed to the Board of County Commissioners.) (QM) Qiana Medici reviewed her staff report stating the item was continued so staff and applicants can meet with Chief Lewis. They met and it was determined by Chief Lewis he doesn’t have the authority to waive requirements from the International Fire Code. Mr. Rily has agreed to pave 30 feet of the driveway beginning at Homestead and double layer chip seal the remaining of the driveway. The proposed parking lot will be compacted type 2 gravel an approved dust palliative, Proper drainage will be address in the current site development review process.

asked the applicant if they have read, understood and agree to the conditions of approval in the staff report. Karen Rily stated she hasn’t read anything but through Brett and Patrick they have and she agrees.

Commissioner Tyler

is in attendance and abstained.

stated she is happy with the online portal that the County has went to for permitting.
