Schinhofen acknowledged the difficulty in understanding the verbiage in the Senate Bills. During public comment, John Bosta encouraged the WDGB go to Carson City with specific knowledge of the BDR’s, and further stated his concerns, with BDR’s in regards to the Groundwater Management Plan that in his opinion was not adopted, and who has authority over domestic Wells.

Schinhofen reminded the WDGB that it was he who made the motion to adopt the Groundwater Management Plan therefore was adopted by the BoCC. Oz closed the discussion by stating that all Board Members should bring their suggestions to him for consideration to revise the verbiage included in the BDR’s that are proposed for Legislation.
18. For Possible Action - Discussion, deliberation and decision concerning future

Schinhofen and Dave Hall stated they would not be in attendance of the WDGB Meeting scheduled on February 27, 2017. In an effort to decide on an alternative date, Oz stated to the Board that Geraldine would not be available February 12th through the 15th, 2017 because of Water Rights Training in Reno. This training is included as part of her Performance Evaluation Measurements. Dennis Gaddy made a motion to move the WDGB Meeting date from February 27, 2017 to March 6, 2017, depending upon the availability of the Chambers. Jack Freeland seconded the motion. The vote passed 6-0.
