2. (00:01:44) Roll Call – All Present: Mr. Lach (via telephone), Mr. Goedhart, Mr. Holden,

Mr. Jackson

& Mrs. Williams. Mr. Miller was absent from the meeting.

5. (00:02:29) Consideration of Minutes to Prior Meetings.

Mr. Holden

made a motion to approve the Minutes as present from the meetings of 8-9- 2022 and 10-11-2022. Mr. Goedhart offered a second to the motion. The vote to approve was unanimous. Page 2 December 13, 2022

8. (00:04:41) Disclosure Of Ex-Parte Communications and Possible Conflict of Interest.

Mr. Goedhart

disclosed that he was the holder of water rights in Nye County but that he did not believe that would cause any conflict with his duties as a member of the Nye County Water Board.

9. (00:05:26) FOR POSSIBLE ACTION – Discussion and deliberation to approve, amend

made a motion to accept the proposed agreement as presented. Mr. Jackson offered a second to approve the proposed agreement. The vote to approve was unanimous 5-0.

made a motion to oppose the proposed water use for the project as presented. Mr. Jackson offered a second to oppose the water use for the project as presented. The vote to oppose was unanimous 5-0.

made the direction to the General Manger to produce a report and possibly an agenda item exploring possible options of using Delinquent Tax properties in a manner consistent with water conservation.

made a motion to approve the time and date of the next meeting of the Nye County Water District for Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the BOCC Chambers. The vote to approve the date was unanimous 5-0.

suggested a future agenda item to address Nye County’s water rights holdings and application in Crater Flats Basin #229 outside of Beatty. Mrs. Williams directed the General Page 4 December 13, 2022 Manager to distribute a memo to all of the members of the water board concerning a meeting on December 8, 2015 by the Pahrump Advisory Planning Committee which addressed the Annual Recharge and Annual Yield of Pahrump Hydrographic Basin #162.
