Nye County resident Dwight Lilly said that he did not believe that Nye County had not been in contact with the BLM about the proposed Solar Farms. Nye County resident Jennie King thanked Chair Williams for protecting the area’s water resources. Nye County resident Mike Barishman spoke out against Solar Farms. He went on to complain about the Realtors in Pahrump promising 500 years of water availability. Nye County resident Kevin Emmerich spoke about a meeting with NV Energy in Beatty. Nye County resident Judi Westgate said she wanted more people to support the water district. Nye County resident Laura Cunningham said that she supported the letter as presented. Nye County resident Doug Blackstock recommended a proposal that all solar power construction work and washing should be done with reclaimed waste water only.
