disclosed that he had private business interests and owned water rights in Pahrump and Amargosa. He went on to explain that he would recuse himself from any item which he felt presented a conflict of interest. Mr. Lach mentioned that he was a holder of water rights in Nye County but that he did not see anything on the agenda that would hinder his ability to vote. This item will impose no financial impact. Nye County resident Laura Larsen said that she approved of sending the letters of protest on solar projects in Pahrump and Basin 162. Nye County resident Susie Hurtz expressed he support for the board to send the letters of protest to the various solar projects in Basin 162. Nye County resident Susie Hurtz said that she was in support of the project and explained that she was happy to see something being done to help bring more water to Pahrump. Mr. Jackson

mentioned that he had encountered several instances of residents using residential well to supply other neighboring parcels. He asked that the issue be addressed by the Nye County Water District. Mr. Lach questioned Nye County’s water rights applications in the Beatty region and requested that the manager focus on that issue and bring some information forward on that application.
